This issue has now been resolved and engineers are continuing to monitor the situation.
Please note that no Customer emails were lost in this time but Customers may see increased times in the delivery of new mail.

We have recently identified a problem with connection to our inbound mailservers (bastions)
Our engineers are investigating and further updates will be posted here when available.

#1943 Broadband (xDSL) - Manchester Power Supply Upgrade (New)
Power work is planned to take place on a device in Manchester which feeds one of our BT central pipes. The aim of the work is to provide more resilience and should not take more than a few minutes to resolve.
Although DSL services should not be affected during the change, they should be considered at risk for the duration of the maintenance window.

#1942 Broadband (xDSL) - 20CN Connectivity Issues: Planned Emergency Load Balance (New)
Due to Planned Engineering work between Zen and BT we will be required to carry out load balancing on one of our 20CN gateways (Ghandi).
On rare occasions customers may be unable to reconnect after an outage. In this situation customers should power down their equipment, switch it back on and attempt to reconnect. If this fails customers should power down their equipment for 30 minutes before attempting to connect again.

Maintenance work is being performed on our London Metro ring used to service DSL customers on the BT 21CN platform.
No disruption to service is expected, this service alert is being raised as a precautionary measure.

BT have completed works overnight to restore connections to the remaining customers affected. Any customers continuing to have problems please contact Technical support for further assistance.
